my approach

My perspective and therapeutic approaches stem from my training during and after graduate school, as well as my work with the clients/patients I have come across throughout my career.

I work from a trauma informed perspective, which means I will be mindful of how your past experiences may be affecting you today. My main therapeutic approaches are cognitive processing therapy and attachment theory; although, I find it effective to integrate other modalities depending on the needs of my clients and the nature of the distressing event.

In our work together, my objective is that you feel heard, seen, and understood. I will focus on your goals and the areas you wish to make changes in, as I understand these are uniquely yours. We will identify treatment priorities and develop a tailored plan that aligns with your needs and goals.
